Electronics development: You will be involved in the conceptualisation and development of new electronic assemblies and the integration of these into our workout machines
Test and validation: You create measurement setups for long-term tests, carry out measurements on prototypes and discuss the results with the specialist department. You take care of the safety of the systems and create work instructions
Workshop management: You take care of the test equipment and other equipment in our electronics laboratory as well as components for test bench construction
Interdisciplinary: You work in an agile working environment in which you are in regular dialogue with other specialist departments, such as software and mechanics
Professional experience: You are a certified technician (m/f/d) specialising in electrical engineering or mechatronics and have professional experience in working with test benches and systems
Electrical systems: You are familiar with various approaches to the control and automation of test benches as well as suitable safety concepts
Measurement technology: You know your way around an electronics laboratory and are familiar with various electrical measuring equipment and methods. You know how a test according to VDE 0701 works
Electrical Expertise: You have knowledge of analogue and digital technology. You have some experience with microcontrollers and scripting languages such as Python. Skills in using C/C++ are a plus.
Personal responsibility: You have a good analytical mindset and are willing to take responsibility for safety-critical projects
Language skills: You have good communication skills in English. German proficiency is a plus
Product overview: You will have familiarised yourself with EGYM's products and electronic solutions and gained an overview of our projects
Supply chain: You will have familiarised yourself with our suppliers for electronic components and act as EGYM's contact person for them
Test systems: You will have familiarised yourself with our in-house test systems and the overarching architecture. You have taken responsibility for at least one of the test systems and are planning the next development steps
Production: You will have visited our most important production partners and familiarised yourself with the test systems and methods used there
Teamwork & processes: You will have gotten to know your team, the neighbouring departments and our processes
