To maintain our position as market leaders and to remain at the forefront of new feature developments, we are seeking an Elm Developer to join our Elm Frontend team. We aim to find an individual who has a passion for creating user-friendly enterprise products.
The successful candidate will become a valuable member of one of our teams, working with Elm. As an Elm Developer, your responsibilities will include both designing and maintaining multiple applications developed with Elm. You will also be involved in discussions about the best practices and tools for use with other Elm applications in the organisation.
The position is remote, available to anyone living in the EU or UK, but you can also come work at one of our offices located in Stockholm, Berlin, Oslo, Copenhagen or Amsterdam.
Your challenge
Develop new features and maintain frontend Elm applications.
Gradually migrate some components from the React frontend to Elm.
Collaborate with colleagues and other teams to design problem-solving solutions.
Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes related to development, product backlog, deployment, and beyond.
Improve the design and usability of the application in collaboration with UI/UX designers.
To succeed in the role as Elm Developer, we expect you to meet the following minimum qualifications:
You are an experienced Frontend developer (4+ years experience, with at least 1-2 years of experience working on Elm applications)
You have experience in JavaScript & TypeScript
Experience in Elm either from personal or commercial use
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Permanent residency in EU
Big bonus points if you have previous experience of:
Experience with React
Experience in UX/UI of web applications
Experience with accessibility principles
Start-up or scale up environment
Working remotely
