The EMEA Payroll Specialist operates in a high growth environment and demonstrates the ability to partner across the firm to ensure a positive employee total rewards experience. This position within the global HR team is uniquely centered with major involvement in the EMEA HR function, ensuring all processes are executed appropriately in a timely manner within a high-touch environment, while maintaining an emphasis on efficiency and technology automation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Successfully process & deliver accurate payroll services across our EMEA locations and in compliance with local laws and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with the Global payroll team on processing that affects multiple regions including expatriate payroll and bonus payroll processing.
  • Preparation and submission of all EMEA leaver and year-end tax documents.
  • Manages third party payroll vendors; provides regular feedback to ensure quality payroll standards at all times.
  • Interpret and communicate new legislation impacting payroll; manage compliance updates and employee communications as needed.
  • Oversee EMEA region for ongoing payroll transformation project.
  • Partner with EMEA & Global HR team on operational efficiency for areas impacting payroll including benefits, global mobility, and leavers.
  • Provide back up support to US payroll processing as needed.
  • To be the Workday Infrastructure Expert for the region.
  • Utilize HRIS (Workday) for accurate payroll processing including data auditing and report creation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations related to EMEA payroll processing.
  • Represent the EMEA HR team during bi-annual Workday release updates; review new configuration and share with team potential enhancements.
  • Proactively review tenant set up and Business Processes to determine if workflow is accurate for the region.
  • Identify and implement enhancements and controls around processes in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed.

Role Requirements

  • At least 4+ years’ experience in payroll and HRIS functions (on a regional or global team)
  • Workday experience.
  • Knowledge of any other European languages is a bonus.
  • Experience with external vendor management requiring good relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in supporting and developing into multiple areas of the global Human Resources team.
