What You Will Be Doing:

  • Serving as a primary point of contact for employee enquiries, concerns, and conflicts, providing guidance and resolutions across the 3 DCs in the UK.
  • Supporting Investigation Managers with investigations, ensuring due process and policy is being followed.
  • Support and facilitate disciplinary processes as necessary, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes across the sites.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Dealing with day to day queries from Colleagues – reporting to the Employee Relations Lead and liaising with management as required.
  • Working closely with the People Services team to ensure strong communication and develop consistency between the teams.
  • Provide guidance, building relationships and support to managers on performance-related matters, including managing the probation periods of employees; coaching, feedback, and personal development plans.
  • Leading or being involved in ad hoc projects as and when required.

Who You Are:

  • You will have previous experience in a HR advisory role, advising/supporting managers on employee relations issues.
  • Hard skills: Including Google Suite, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, HRIS systems, Workday experience.
  • Soft skills: Strong Communication (Written and Verbal), Problem Solving, Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
  • Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree and CIPD Level 5 (Preferred)

Location: Plot 8, unit 2 Smart parc, Spondon, Derby DE21 7HW

Working hours: Friday - Monday (32 hours) flexibility on working pattern can be discussed, though Saturday & Sunday essential.
