Engagement Manager

What you'll do:
- Strategically plan and execute engagement initiatives in line with SumUp’s business goals and market trends, focusing on reducing churn and increasing merchant engagement through new product offerings to enhance Total Payment Volume (TPV) and net revenue.
- Lead, develop, and mentor both direct and indirect team members to implement SumUp’s strategy into actionable plans. This includes overseeing:
- Manage the team’s Profit and Loss (P&L) to ensure profitability, allocating investments to initiatives with the highest return on investment (ROI), and providing clear visibility of critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the organization.
- Collaborate across functions, both locally and globally, including product, marketing, sales, and finance teams, to identify opportunities, conduct experiments, deploy new projects and ensure alignment with company-wide initiatives.

- Possesses an analytical mindset, adept at interpreting data and customer feedback to drive informed decisions
- Demonstrates hands-on experience with A/B testing, funnel optimization, and implementing user engagement strategies
- Demonstrates a proven track record of fostering successful team performance and prioritizing customer success
- Proficient in financial modeling to support decision-making processes with data-driven insights
- Strong skills in people development and team management, promoting growth and collaboration
- Exceptional abilities in stakeholder management and negotiation, facilitating effective communication and relationship-building across diverse teams
- Displays high energy and motivation to mobilize stakeholders and drive initiatives forward
- Takes a proactive approach to work, managing multiple projects and priorities with ease
