THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to enable a team advancing Pure’s Edge Platform—technology that provides secure, reliable communication between edge devices and Pure1 cloud services. You’ll lead the integration of on-device Edge components into Purity OS and strengthen Purity capabilities that support the platform’s future direction. This is a key role connecting device and cloud ecosystems, where your leadership will directly influence product reliability, customer experience, and long-term platform evolution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Enable a team building technology that connects on-device systems with cloud services, creating space for growth, ownership, and lasting impact.
- Empower and engage a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Plan and deliver integration of platform components into Purity OS, guiding projects end-to-end—from planning and development to validation and release.
- Balance priorities and make timely, transparent decisions that align work with long-term goals, guided by customer value, operational stability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner across teams to simplify delivery paths, remove friction, and maintain high standards for quality, reliability, security, and observability.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Proven experience leading and inspiring software engineering teams delivering cloud-connected, customer-facing products.
- Ability to manage projects through the full SDLC—balancing priorities, scope, and capacity while meeting commitments.
- Sound judgment under pressure and dedication to improving reliability, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Collaborative and practical leadership style—credible, fair, adaptable, focused on clarity, consistency, and results over process.
- Understanding of distributed systems and systems software across cloud and embedded environments, with readiness to deepen expertise in Pure’s technologies and domain.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
