Job Description

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a growing team of engineers working to develop and optimize the next-generation suite of in-house tools that drive business outcomes for our Planning and Operations teams. The Engineering Manager will play a key role in bringing the technical vision to reality by leading, growing, and managing engineers while navigating complex cross-functional challenges arising from the evolution of in-production tools.

  • Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing and implementing the next-generation suite of tools
  • Create, modify, and improve, and conduct technical processes to establish and maintain technical standards
  • Own the architecture, design, development, and deployment of the applications that are developed
  • Collaborate with TPM, PM, and Data Analytics to create the best path forward for our stakeholders
  • Proactively communicate progress, blockers, and risks to the team roadmap while devising ways to resolve issues
  • Support engineers in their growth and development by coaching and mentoring

  • Comfortable working with ambiguity to derive clarity through decisive leadership as well as collaborative teamwork
At a minimum, you have...
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 6+ years of experience on an Agile software development team, preferably in a lead or senior role for 2+ years
  • 4+ years of programming experience in Python, Java, Go, Node
  • Experience working with relational databases and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, containerization and orchestration with modern technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow)
  • Experience working in big enterprise environments as well as startup environments
