About the Team
As part of Okta CIC Identity and Access Management (IAM), the Delegated Administration team builds solutions that empower the customers of B2B SaaS applications to set up users and manage their access and permissions themselves. Our work reduces the administrative overhead SaaS IT staff have to perform, saving them time and delighting their customers with intuitive and powerful functionality to perform common setup and management tasks themselves.
You will:
- Lead and grow a healthy, inclusive, collaborative team rooted in the opportunities they create for customers.
- Ensure each team member deepens their skills through coaching, training, and mentoring.
- Work with product and design to build the roadmap for Delegated Administration functionality at Okta CIC. This involves talking to engineers, other teams, and various stakeholders within the company.
- Review your team’s work to meet high-performance standards.
- Tie every piece of work back to the mission of making the internet safer and the business value of making it easier for companies to solve Auth.
- Have the opportunity to gain a great understanding and context about how Okta CIC works and learn more about security protocols and how to build reliable, highly available systems.
- As required, work on relevant stories, tasks, and bugs from your team’s backlog.
You are a good fit if you:
- Have experience leading a full-stack development team in B2B, fintech or a financial software organization.
- Skilled at coaching teammates in all phases of their careers.
- Experience providing focus to teams to enable them to achieve their goals.
- Hands-on who can help a team evaluate trade-offs during various SDLC phases.
- Enjoy working in an iterative development environment.
- Can add value to a conversation even when you are unfamiliar with the entire context.
- Work well with technical and non-technical people to deliver high-value results.
- Like to lead by example.
- Are a great communicator and communication facilitator.
Bonus points if you:
- Experience with IAM/OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM.
- Experience working on cloud-native technologies with AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Experience managing teams developing features that scale.
