We’re seeking an Engineering Manager II to work within our team focused on building CRM systems that empower restaurants to drive engagement, retention and growth. The team will help shape the future of how restaurants use technology to connect with their guests - increasingly through AI-powered tools and experiences that drive automation, personalization and smarter decision-making. You will be a key part of a high-impact, high-ownership engineering team solving complex challenges in a fast-moving product space. Your leadership will be grounded in balancing technical excellence alongside a strong product mindset to solve for continuous growth within both the team and our product space. You’ll also be a force multiplier by  driving adoption of AI in engineering processes, such as code generation, quality analysis and testing, to elevate delivery and innovation.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Drive strategic execution and delivery of CRM product capabilities, including AI-powered personalization, segmentation and engagement features.
  • Lead and scale a high-performing team of 4-8 engineers through thoughtful coaching, fostering a shared sense of ownership and purpose.
  • Champion the use of AI tools and practices to accelerate development, improve team velocity, and pioneer new ways of building - setting the bar for what it means to be an AI-first engineering organization.
  • Collaborate deeply with Product and UX to shape product direction, prioritize effectively and ensure the “why” is always clear.
  • Set and uphold high standards of technical quality, growth mindset and product thinking within your team.
  • Ensure operational excellence, including monitoring, performance and fast resolution of production issues.
  • Drive iterative learning through experimentation, measurement and refinement of guest engagement tools and campaigns.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Proven success leading high-performing engineering teams building user-centric SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and uphold a high bar for technical quality, team culture and impact.
  • Experience leading in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments without losing momentum or team morale.
  • Strong product mindset: You understand user needs and company strategy, align engineering with business impact and think across the full customer lifecycle.
  • Experience with AI in software development workflows, from code assistance to testing and documentation.
  • A desire to build and support a diverse, collaborative, mission-driven team.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology (MarTech), CRM platforms is a bonus.

  • React SPAs leveraging Tailwind, GraphQL and Storybook.
  • Android app built in Java & Kotlin running in the restaurant.
  • PostgreSQL, Dynamodb and OpenSearch for persistence.
  • Pulsar, Camel and RabbitMQ for message-based integrations.
  • And many more technologies that help us build a top class platform.

**This role requires a minimum of two days per week in our Dublin office**
