What you’ll doWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to spearhead our efforts in establishing and expanding our tech center in Amsterdam. In this role, you will be our technical leader and a people manager for a team of 6 to 8 engineers. You will be expected to coach and upskill your team members while fostering an amazing engineering culture and ensuring the team’s success at Doctolib Siilo. The total engineering team in Amsterdam currently consists of 20 engineers with plans to increase the team by 50% this year!
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Being directly in charge of a feature team mixing mobile, web and backend engineers;
- Managing and growing the performance and career of your team members;
- Ensuring business objectives are met as a team;
- Empowering your team to build better products;
- Working closely with a product manager to set the roadmap for your team;
- Being owner of the team’s production, quality, and delivery;
- Leading cross-functional initiatives to level-up our engineering team;
- Partnering with Talent & People teams to recruit, develop and retain talent.

You could be our next team mate if you:
- Have 2+ years of engineering management experience;
- Knowledgeable on various domains including mobile (Android, iOS, Java, AWS…), CI/CD systems and dev tools for different development stacks (Typescript, Java, Android, iOS…).
- Understand the value of testing your code, individually or functionally, for each new feature or bugfix;
- Apply best practices to track and iterate on the team’s execution;
- Proven experiences developing efficient, maintainable and secure products;
- Fluent in English.

- Have worked in a hyper-growth tech environment;
- Have an understanding of cloud infrastructures and security topics;
- Have experience with managing mobile oriented teams;
