About The Team:

We're currently on the hunt for an Engineering Shift Manager to join our passionate and hardworking team. Reporting into the Operations Management Team, you'll be responsible for leading a team of Automation Engineers in one of the UK's fastest growing food companies! 

You'll be expected to drive excellent standards, improve processes and enhance efficiency whilst mentoring your team, to ensure we provide an exceptional product to our hungry customers, each and every delivery.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage and provide leadership to a team of Automation Engineers and Maintenance Shift Manager
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts, equipment upgrades, and technical support.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

Who You Are:

  • Strong knowledge of automation systems, material handling equipment, and warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in an automated manufacturing or distribution center environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri Days model
