What Is The RoleElastic is looking for a driven, results-oriented Enterprise Account Executive to accelerate growth in Singapore. The ideal candidate is a proven hunter with a strong track record of acquiring new enterprise customers, building pipeline from the ground up, and closing complex technology deals with large organizations. This role is suited to a sales professional who thrives on winning new logos, breaking into strategic accounts, and establishing relationships with senior business and technology leaders. You will identify new market opportunities, develop compelling business cases, and position Elastic as a strategic technology partner to enterprise customers. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying opportunities to developing deal strategies, negotiating commercial agreements, and closing new business. While new customer acquisition is the primary focus, you will also identify opportunities to expand Elastic's footprint within existing accounts.
What You Will Be Doing
- Acquire New Enterprise Customers: Identify, target, and win new enterprise logos in Singapore. Develop and execute a proactive territory strategy to penetrate strategic accounts and establish Elastic's presence in new customer environments.
- Build Pipeline Through Prospecting: Generate qualified pipeline through disciplined outbound prospecting, executive networking, referrals, partner relationships, industry events, and other demand-generation activities. Maintain a strong pipeline of self-sourced opportunities.
- Own the Full Sales Cycle: Lead complex enterprise sales engagements from initial discovery and qualification through solution development, business case creation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Develop Executive Relationships: Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, business leaders, and senior technology stakeholders. Understand their strategic priorities and connect Elastic's solutions to measurable business outcomes.
- Drive Competitive Wins: Identify opportunities to displace incumbent vendors, challenge the status quo, and introduce Elastic into new accounts. Develop compelling value propositions and differentiated sales strategies to win competitive opportunities.
- Develop Strategic Account Plans: Create actionable territory and account plans that identify target customers, buying centers, key stakeholders, whitespace opportunities, and clear paths to winning new business.
- Lead Complex Enterprise Deals: Orchestrate cross-functional teams across solution architecture, product, professional services, marketing, and channel partners to advance opportunities and deliver successful customer outcomes.
- Build Business Value: Translate customer challenges into compelling business cases supported by value justification, ROI analysis, and measurable business outcomes.
- Drive Partner-Led Growth: Work closely with channel partners, systems integrators, cloud providers, and strategic alliances to identify new opportunities, expand market reach, and accelerate customer acquisition.
- Deliver Consistent Sales Performance: Own pipeline creation, forecast accuracy, sales execution, and quota attainment. Maintain a disciplined approach to qualification, deal progression, and territory management.
- Develop Elastic Expertise: Build a strong working knowledge of Elastic's Search AI, Observability, and Security solutions, and articulate their value to enterprise customers across different industries.
What You Bring
- Proven Hunter Mentality: A demonstrated track record of winning new enterprise customers, opening doors in target accounts, and building pipeline through proactive prospecting rather than relying primarily on inbound leads or inherited accounts.
- Enterprise Technology Sales Experience: At least 8–10 years of successful B2B technology sales experience, ideally selling enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, or observability solutions to large organizations.
- New Logo Acquisition Success: Evidence of consistently acquiring new customers, penetrating greenfield accounts, and closing complex, high-value enterprise deals.
- Strong Pipeline Generation Skills: The ability and willingness to prospect, create demand, engage previously untapped stakeholders, and convert cold or early-stage opportunities into qualified pipeline and closed revenue.
- Complex Deal Execution: Proven experience managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles, navigating enterprise procurement processes, negotiating commercial agreements, and closing seven-figure opportunities.
- Executive Presence: Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology decision-makers.
- Value-Based Selling: The ability to uncover business challenges, articulate differentiated value propositions, and build compelling business cases that connect technology investments to business outcomes.
- Competitive Drive: A track record of winning against established competitors, displacing incumbent solutions, and overcoming customer resistance to change.
- Territory and Account Planning: Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to prioritize target accounts, identify buying centers, develop account strategies, and manage a healthy pipeline.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: The ability to mobilize internal teams and external partners across functions and geographies to progress complex deals and win new business.
- SaaS and Subscription Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise software licensing, SaaS commercial models, cloud marketplaces, and subscription-based selling.
- Ownership and Resilience: A self-starter who demonstrates urgency, accountability, curiosity, and persistence in a competitive sales environment. Comfortable creating opportunities where no established customer relationship exists.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
