The Team

The U.K. & Ireland is our domestic and most mature market. Teams include commercial, operations, marketing and strategy, and teams in the UK&I partner with global departments such as product, technology and consumer.

The Packaging and Partnerships team sits within the Sales/Regional Growth organisation and is responsible for the E2E development and management of the key programmes and propositions that will drive restaurant partner loyalty. Currently, this includes propositions such as the Olleco partnership, the Bestway partnership and our Packaging proposition, all currently in their infancy this team has a huge opportunity to grow at scale in the next 12-24m. 

The Role

We are looking for an EU Packaging Commercial Manager to join our Global Packaging team. You’ll lead on the execution of our EU packaging strategy, working closely with our two EU packaging partners, PKG and Packhelp, and be responsible for scaling the proposition with our sales team and restaurant partners in France, Italy and Belgium. 

The role requires someone who has a strong commercial background and communication skills as you will be expected to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders and influence others effectively. Proficiency in French or Italian is advantageous but not essential.

With our online packaging proposition launching in the EU in September, this is a really exciting time to join the team and contribute towards growth in these markets.

What you'll do:

  • Be responsible for scaling our packaging proposition in France, Italy and Belgium 
  • Own the relationship with our EU packaging partners, Packhelp and PKG, working to develop a scalable business which is both commercially advantageous for Deliveroo and a valued asset for our restaurant partners
  • Lead the GTM in our EU markets, engaging and inspiring our sales teams to sell the packaging proposition with passion
  • Ensure our EU packaging proposition is best in class vs our competition with the right range at the right price, delivering through the right partner
  • Contribute towards our EU packaging strategy and planning for 2025

Requirements:

  • Proven commercial & negotiation skills
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to work cross functionally to build and execute plans
  • A self starter with the ability to work autonomously, with a growth mindset
  • Strong data and analytical skills
