We have a couple of EA opportunities available - 1 x permanent role supporting our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and 1 x 8 month Fixed-Term Contract supporting our Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

All our roles are hub based (Bristol, Glasgow or London), providing a dedicated space for collaboration, connection and teamwork. You’ll also have the flexibility to work from home.
This role is flexible on hub location but ideally the candidate would be close distance to either Bristol or London to allow for frequent face to face connection time and in person support. There is also an expectation to be in the office for company meetings, board meetings, team events and occasional travel when needed to support on the ground for the Exec team and within the Assistants Team.

This role in a nutshell:
You'll be part of the Assistants Team, supporting either our CFO or CTO and their leadership team. This is a great opportunity for a business focussed EA who would like to join a fast paced, tech organisation where EAs are seen as strategic partners, regularly collaborate and act as a department
We work together closely by sharing knowledge, collaborating and acting as a department in the business. Cover for other EAs is standard and will be required during annual leave periods and occasionally leaning into other areas of the business as and when needed.
This role also involves being a People Leader to at least 1 x junior PA who supports some of your Exec Leaders's direct reports. As People Leaders in the Assistants team, we come together regularly to discuss ways of working, areas of improvement, implementing new processes within the team and looking at our strategy and objectives as assistants to ensure we are continuously providing first class support to our business leaders. We also want to ensure our junior members of the team are fully supported and can see a path of progression within the role.
There may be other ad-hoc support required at times if requested by your Exec Leader and their leadership team.
Your key outcomes will be:
- Provide strategic support to your Executive Leader and their team, the role is an extremely fast paced and varied role with the need for a proactive, agile approach to problem solving, the role includes but is not limited to the key responsibilities outlined below;
- First class diary management/ priority setting / workload management
- Team support (planning offsites/ events/ team meetings/ training etc.)
- Some reactive/ basic diary support to some of your leadership team (room bookings/ supporting travel/ expenses where capacity allows)
- Travel & Expenses
- Inbox management - a high level of confidentiality is required
- Engagement - eyes & ears, supporting with team engagement strategies plus acting as key communicator
- External and internal stakeholder management/ representation of CTO or CFO
- Tech/ industry awareness
Systems: G-Suite, Slack, Workday, Agiito
You’ll be a successful Executive Assistant here at OVO if you…
- Have proven experience as an EA at VP/ C-Suite level in a fast moving, tech organisation, ideally supporting either tech or finance teams or will have a genuine interest and awareness of the industry.
- Are a strong influencer - pushes and holds accountable to deadlines without ego - Self awareness as well as business/ team awareness
- Are a Team player with assistants community, sharing knowledge, learning where appropriate to correct audiences at correct times
- Have Excellent written and verbal communication
- Enjoy collaboration and being part of the Assistants team
- Have the ability to organise, prioritise workload and demonstrate adaptability - Ability to push teams to work to deadlines without ego
- Are goal and deadline oriented
- Are self-driven and motivated, with an ability to show initiative in all situations and the ability to take ownership for actions

- Confidentiality is a must – this role is party to highly sensitive information important in protecting our employees and our business
