 Overview:

This is a 6-month contract position and will frequently work out of our New York City office. 

The Executive Business Partner is a pivotal role designed to enhance the effectiveness of our executive team by providing comprehensive and strategic support. This role goes beyond traditional administrative tasks, requiring deep involvement in business operations, team goal tracking, and executive support. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic insight, operational expertise, and exceptional interpersonal skills to manage complex board relations and ensure the seamless execution of executive and board-level activities.

You will: 

  • Strategic Support: Act as a strategic partner to the executive, involving deep engagement with business operations, and providing insightful support in decision-making processes.
  • Team Goal Management: Track and monitor team goals, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives. Facilitate the execution of strategic initiatives by coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Agenda Setting and Documentation: Develop meeting agendas and create comprehensive briefing documents to prepare the executive for meetings, presentations, and decision-making.
  • Board Relations: Manage intricate relationships with board members, including scheduling board calls and meetings across different time zones, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Board Material Management: Oversee the preparation and distribution of board materials, maintaining the Board Book Platform to ensure accessibility and organization of critical documents.
  • Meeting Logistics: Coordinate all logistical aspects of Board meetings, including venue selection, travel arrangements, and meeting planning, to ensure smooth and efficient proceedings.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to business operations and executive team support, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.

You have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a high-level support role, with significant exposure to board relations and executive support.
  • Proven experience as an Executive Business Partner, Senior Executive Assistant, or similar role with a strong focus on strategic support and board relations.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and optimizing executive and board operations.
  • Proficiency in office software, project management tools, and board management platforms.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Compensation: 

The pay range for this role will be between $40/hour to $60/hour. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications.
