Experiential Marketing Manager (Contract to hire)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Experiential Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of events that enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement and support business objectives. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Event Planning and Execution:
- Plan, coordinate and execute a variety of events, including trade shows, conferences, hosted dinners, activations, and partner events.
- Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas in alignment with marketing goals and brand messaging.
Project Management:
- Create detailed project plans, timelines and budgets for each event.
- Support on all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, audiovisual requirements and creatives.
- Coordinate with design teams to produce event materials, signage and promotional items.
- Support on-site management at all events
- Monitor and track expenses
Vendor and Partner Management:
- Identify, negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and agencies to ensure high-quality event execution.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
Industry Trends and Best Practices:
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event planning and management.
- Propose innovative ideas and solutions to continuously improve the effectiveness and creativeness of events and activations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in event planning, coordination and execution.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a variety of events, from concept to completion.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be creative and well-versed in pop culture and trends within the retail industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed for event execution, including some weekends and bank holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail, ecommerce, and supply chain / logistics events are a plus
