Mission

You will deliver high-quality service to our high-growth team in Mountain View. You will be part of a team supporting all employee experience activities, including lunch services, happy hours, and internal office and customer events. You will also manage the office's daily operations, supporting regular maintenance and employee requests.

You will report directly to the Bay Area Workplace Manager.

Outcomes

  • You will deliver the best service for employees, customers, and investors.
  • You will plan support for internal events/training/kick offs  and company happy hours.
  • You will oversee front-of-house activities such as security badge issuing, food and beverage programs.
  • You will support business events (internal and external) by managing bookings, planning, and furniture setup.
  • You will guide all facilities and workplace operations to achieve an environment that manifests and deepens company culture in our workplaces.
  • You will work with your extended North American team, supporting programs within the scope of Workplace and Real Estate Operations.
  • You will ensure a coverage model that supports daily facilities requests are completed - work as a part of the REW team to follow standards and critical measures to ensure a consistent level of support.
  • You will maintain relationships with company partners (EAs, team leaders) and partner teams (HR, IT, Finance, and property management) and external vendor services to ensure the highest quality solutions.
  • You will work on special projects as a part of the global REW team
  • You will help develop, and document operational processes such as overseeing regular office maintenance programs- janitorial, patch and paint, maintenance and safety equipment.
  • You will improve and document operational processes: OpEx, CapEx, Security, and Safety Programs.
  • You will manage the operating budget for your office.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Facilities management experience with responsibility for operations and service delivery.
  • Experience building schedules, coverage models and working with partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal speaking abilities to draft office communications.
  • Coordinated, streamlined and structured, managing multiple work streams and projects.
  • Customer focussed attitude - ensuring high-quality resolutions.
  • Financial and budget experience, including sourcing/procuring goods or services and following procurement best practices.
  • Experience working and managing projects within a distributed, remote environment.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. Zone 1 Pay Range$77,700—$137,400 USD
