Facility and Maintenance Manager
We are looking for a Facility & Maintenance Manager for our ambitious and highly motivated team in Bleiswijk. Our fulfillment center is the beating heart of our operations, ensuring we send all our HelloFresh boxes complete, on time, and with the right quality. You will be working in the Production team, where you are one of the most important stakeholders for one of our biggest strategic projects - the launch of a new 32,000 sqm warehouse in the area of Bleiswijk. Together with the project lead and our operational teams, you will brainstorm on how we can make our production process more efficient and future-proof. Besides managing this huge business change, you are the person who takes a leading role in professionalizing our Facility Management organization and ensuring all installations, equipment, and facilities are organized perfectly so our production runs smoothly. HelloFresh is a fast-changing organization, and in this role, you are one of the enablers to facilitate new product launches, so we can make our customers happier than ever.
Note: During the initial phase of employment, you will work alongside the interim manager currently filling the position to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of work with the aim of fully taking over the role from Q2 2026.
This is how you’ll make an impact
- You will lead the team of 4 direct reports (20 indirect), responsible for all our facility-related processes. You manage the performance of the team and guide them in their development.
 - With your tremendous people skills, you are able to filter all necessary information from our operational teams to have a clear understanding of what is needed from our facility and equipment to improve our operational performance.
 - Your team ensures all installations run perfectly and our fulfillment center is known as a (food) safe, clean, and fantastic work environment.
 - In this role, you will work together with a lot of different stakeholders (a.o. Operations and FSQA) to make sure projects run smoothly, all (audit) standards are met, and new initiatives can be tested and introduced.
 - With your service-oriented attitude and strong planning skills, you are always focused on facilitating the teams in Bleiswijk to ensure that together everyone can perform at the highest level.
 - You develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet GMP standards, make suggestions regarding procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate work, and maintain efficiency and productivity.
 - You will be part of the international Facility and Maintenance cluster.
 - The first months will start with the following responsibilities: taking on key projects including the relocation to our new Production Site and establishing a solid facilities foundation. Experience with office relocations or workplace projects is therefore a plus.
 
These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Facility Management, preferably in a production or operations environment.
 - 2 years of demonstrated experience managing projects. You know how to get your team motivated and set up and finish projects successfully.
 - Strong organizational & contractor management skills
 - With your leadership skills, you are able to influence others to get everyone in the right direction.
 - You have worked with an FMIS system and know how to use this data to investigate what improvements need to be made to better support the operation.
 - You have experience with financial reporting and delivering input for the budget.
 - You don’t shy away from a challenge and are able to perform in a fast-paced and continuously changing work environment.
 - You’re proactive, ambitious, and have a think-outside-the-box mentality.
 - A professional level of English and Dutch is required.
