PURE STORAGE — BE PART OF BUILDING THE FUTURE

Since our founding, Pure Storage has empowered innovators to build a better world with data. We’re transforming enterprise storage with simplicity, resilience, and sustainable performance. We’re a team that values learning, collaboration, and customer outcomes, with space to grow your career and make an impact.

The Field Alliances Manager leads the strategic management and growth of Pure Storage’s top technology alliances across EMEA, based in Munich, Germany. You will drive regional business planning, execution, and field alignment to deliver measurable outcomes in pipeline generation, co-sell success, and joint solution adoption.

Operating at the intersection of global alliances, EMEA leadership, and partner ecosystems, you will translate global strategies into actionable regional plans while ensuring local market needs and opportunities are represented upstream. Success requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, solution architects, and partner organisations to accelerate customer outcomes and expand Pure’s reach.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic management and expansion of Pure Storage’s top technology alliances in EMEA.

  • Drive partner-led growth across priority EMEA markets (e.g., Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Nordics and Benelux) with clear plans and measurable outcomes.

  • Enable regional go-to-market (GTM) execution—pipeline generation, co-sell success, and partner activation—through close field alignment and coordinated marketing.

  • Create and deliver joint marketing campaigns, demand-generation programmes, and net-new initiatives tailored to regional priorities.

  • Deepen technical alignment by collaborating with Field Solution Architects, Systems Engineers, and the CTO Office to accelerate joint solution adoption.

  • Engage Channel partners and Global System Integrators (GSIs) to amplify reach and deliver industry-relevant, customer-centric solutions.

  • Support partner-led sales by managing co-sell programmes, marketplace alignment, and development of scalable service offerings.

  • Oversee partner funding programmes (e.g., PoCs, pilots, MDF), certifications, and joint enablement to accelerate execution.

  • Establish effective engagement models and operational processes that resolve issues quickly and optimise collaboration between field teams and partners.

  • Deliver regular business performance reviews and executive-level reporting to measure impact, refine strategy, and ensure alignment with global priorities.

What Will Help You Thrive
  • Typically 7+ years of alliance, partner, or ecosystem experience—or equivalent transferrable experience that demonstrates impact in similar responsibilities.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% across the region, with variability by quarter and event cadence; reasonable accommodations will be considered.

  • A collaborative, outcomes-focused approach with strong prioritisation, follow-through, and attention to detail.

  • Comfort operating in a dynamic, matrixed environment and influencing cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Solution Architecture, Alliances).

  • Strong communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholder groups and cultures; credible external presenter.

  • Business fluency in German and English; other EMEA languages are a plus.

  • Creativity in developing joint initiatives and energising field teams, with a practical mindset for execution and measurement.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience); an MBA is a plus, not a requirement.
