This role will be part of the Enterprise LoB HQ organization and will be embedded in the Americas Enterprise Sales Organization to land enterprise growth initiatives and create a tight feedback loop between corporate and the field sales organization.  You will be a trusted advisor to the Americas field sales leadership in the Globals, Strategics, Enterprise, and Federal businesses.  You will work with the sales leadership team to build and execute on their business plans and help drive the execution of the those plans across marketing, partner, and the HQ organization. You will also drive enablement of enterprise sales communities along with providing direct support to the most strategic accounts. You will be partnered with a technical strategist and work collaboratively as a team to drive the business forward.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

As the regional Field Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Lead a cross functional team across marketing, sales, channels, and HQ resources to achieve the growth targets of the enterprise business
  • Be accountable for successful execution of the enterprise business plan and achievement of the sales targets
  • Deeply understand the enterprise business/pipeline performance, critical sales blockers, strategic deal opportunities and be able to drive course correction where necessary
  • Be a champion to drive new sales plays, sales motions, and sales behaviors that are key to transforming our enterprise sales team and our growth trajectory
  • Collaborate with sales enablement to land product and sales play enablement content and delivery to Pure’s direct and indirect channel teams.
  • Assist with the development of market/competitive intelligence, acting as our thought leader and expert
  • Closely manage and enable the region’s performance related KPIs including pipeline growth, partner leverage and successful program rollouts

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 10+ years successful track record in enterprise business development, field sales/sales leadership experience. 
  • Strategic account direct selling experience highly desirable
  • Experience in solution selling in the enterprise at CxO level
  • Experience in driving transformation initiatives tied to new product areas, vertical segments, and new sales motions in the enterprise
  • Experience in SaaS, Cloud, or core infrastructure technologies
  • High bias for action and execution with strong drive to achieve results
  • Direct experience driving successful theater wide marketing and sales programs is highly desirable
  • Possess a blend of business and technical savvy that includes the ability to build and drive impact with teams across multiple disciplines, especially field teams
  • Cross functional team management and organizational skills, influence without authority, including senior management
  • Analytical and data-driven 
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication; can communicate concisely and persuasively
  • BA/BS and/or equivalent industry field experience required

The annual base salary range is: $183,300-293,300. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
