Field Marketing Manager

As a Field Marketing Manager at Databricks, you will be part of a high-growth tech startup with a collaborative culture. You will report to the Sr. Director of Field Marketing, North America. You will work with your key sales and marketing stakeholders to develop the strategy focused on a given industry; Communications, Media and Entertainment. You will build and execute a scalable mix of field programs in markets to increase engagement, generate leads, drive consumption and maximize conversion rates.
The impact you will have:
- Responsible for the industry Field Marketing strategy based on the allocated budget and BU level targets
- Develop a plan in partnership with your BU leadership and cross team stakeholders that includes a program mix of workshops, executive events, industry targeted events and 3rd party events that will help you meet and exceed targets for your region
- Exceed registration and attendance targets for virtual/live field events
- Streamlined lead flow management from your field marketing programs/events into marketing automation systems and to sales team stakeholders to maximize pipeline generation and conversion
- On budget execution of programs and accurate reconciliation with Finance stakeholders
- Consistent best practice sharing and optimized conversion rates of all programs
What we look for:
- 5+ years' experience managing events, including at least 1-3 years running field marketing events
- Experience running other field programs beyond physical events
- Experience working with a direct sales team, sales development teams (XDRs) and other cross functional partners
- Experience holding event budget authority and managing budgets across an event series
- Experience having pipeline building responsibility
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Asana, and marketing automation platforms (MAPS) (building emails, lists and landing pages)
- Must be metrics-driven
- Travel for events will be required (when appropriate)

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
