The role:

ThousandEyes is seeking a Field Marketing Manager for North EMEA, covering UKI, Nordics and Benelux. The role will involve partnering closely with the North EMEA sales team and the ThousandEyes EMEA Marketing team to help shape and execute our field marketing plan for the region.

The successful candidate will be very comfortable working with our customers, partners, sales and the extended marketing functions in ThousandEyes and across Cisco, to execute high quality marketing initiatives. You will have experience of delivering highly successful campaigns to commercial and large enterprise customers and working closely with sales teams on joint go-to-market initiatives. A good knowledge of business to business marketing, within the technology sector, is crucial.

This position reports to the ThousandEyes EMEA Field Marketing Leader and offers excellent opportunities for growth and increased responsibilities based on performance and company momentum.

 

Responsibilities:

The emphasis is on effectively executing the North EMEA marketing strategy but will also offer the opportunity to help shape the direction of Marketing for ThousandEyes in EMEA and would suit someone with a curiosity across all aspects of marketing.

 

The successful candidate will be encouraged to:

  • Own the marketing plan for the region, demonstrating a hands-on approach and accountability for stakeholder management, planning, communication, execution and budgeting

  • Partner closely with the regional sales leaders, the Enterprise and Commercial sales teams but also CSM team to run campaigns, plays, events and effective post event follow up, to generate engagement, opportunities & pipeline

  • Monitor and report on all aspects of the demand generation funnel for North EMEA, flagging trends and implementing activities to address any gaps

  • Work closely with EMEA & Global ThousandEyes Marketing to plan and adapt go-to-market campaigns, events and initiatives to North EMEA aligned with the company's overall marketing and business objectives

  • Maintain a short-term and long-term perspective on demand generation requirements for the Enterprise & Commercial Sales teams in region, blending broader thought leadership and initiatives with more tactical activities

  • Be a proactive team member across ThousandEyes by collaborating closely with all teams including Sales, Channel Marketing, Digital Marketing, PR and Marketing Operations 

  • Work closely with EMEA customers to establish close relationships and incorporate customer success in the ThousandEyes events and campaign initiatives

 

Desired Skills

Results-driven individual with a proven ability to deliver on commitments on time while achieving or exceeding business goals:

  • 5+ years in a business to business technology marketing role

  • Experience of supporting some or all of the North EMEA region

  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional teams to meet business objectives while fostering strong working relationships

  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation skills; must love to create and execute great campaigns

  • Attention to details to identify pipeline trends and campaign opportunities and rigorously report on performance and success

  • Objectivity and openness to others' views - continuously builds a positive team spirit

  • Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative and high-growth technology environment

  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, Looker, and other marketing tools is a plus
