We are currently looking for a Finance Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, managing receivables, and supporting our regional financial operations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as Revenue, Operations, and Member Support to help resolve issues and improve processes. Your focus on detail, accuracy, and communication will help keep our cash flow strong and our customers supported.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the accounts receivable process with accuracy, including sending collection invoices, emails to members and following up on outstanding payments in a timely manner
  • Liaising with internal teams to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Performing daily reconciliation of collections and recording transactions accurately in Xero
  • Supporting daily bank reconciliation activities and bank staging
  • Assisting with month-end reporting and preparation of audit-related documentation
  • Preparing audit schedules and compiling supporting documents for auditors and tax agents
  • Supporting internal compliance requirements in collaboration with relevant teams
  • Prepare quarterly GST returns in compliance with IRAS regulations.
  • Gaining exposure to regional month-end closing processes and financial compliance practices
  • Collecting and scanning incoming mail, including physical letters, and distributing them to relevant departments for tracking and follow-up

The skills, attitude, and experience we require are:

  • Diploma or University Undergraduate in Finance, Accounting or relevant field is preferred
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in finance and accounting role is required
  • Basic understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
  • Hands-on experience with finance or accounting software (such as Xero, Aspire) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.) is a strong advantage
  • Good team player, positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies, and proactive in managing responsibilities
  • Eager to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment
