YOUR MISSION

We are one of the fastest growing startups in Europe and the way we want to grow is making every city profitable!  To reach this goal, we need an analytical and results driven person to take ownership of our Finance & Strategy Data and processes. At Glovo,  we work hard and we love what we do. If you are a problem-solver person with a 100% hands-on attitude, looking for an energizing work environment with big ideas we’d love to have you on our team! Besides selling on Glovo's marketplace, our partner restaurants, grocery and retailers also have their own channels, such as online or phone. On-demand is Glovo's white label solution for partners to have access to Glovo's network of couriers. This way, partners can deliver their orders to their customers. With Glovo's technology and network, restaurants are able to delight their customers and build brand loyalty.

THE JOURNEY

• Work with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, billing, tax, treasury,..l) to ensure a profitable and flawless execution of key strategic projects, and to develop profitability analysis for new ideas/businesses
• Performance management analysis to keep track of business profitability and growth always looking for new opportunities of improvements
• Investigate the reasons for differences between the planned and actual results, highlighting to top management the impact on the business
• Support OnDemand Strategy & Finance manager on build ad-hoc analysis / reports / lookers / Business Plan elaboration and performance tracking. Share feedback with product / tech to improve our data product
• Support reporting functions for others business teams (growth, ops, data)
• Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• Keen interest in tech, platform businesses and last mile logistics
• Min 3 years of experience in a fast paced business or data analytical role in a high growth environment
• Hands-on and autonomous
• Good eye for opportunities to make things better and take ownership over them
• Strong communication skills and are able to articulate complex concepts in a simple and structured way (both written and orally)
• Great attention to detail
• Advanced SQL skills; Intermediate or basic Looker and Python skills are a good to have
• G-suite (sheets, slides) or Office (powerpoint, excel) proficiency 
• Highly strategic, autonomous and a structured thinker: you know how to structure, break down and analyze problems to solve them at their root
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driven by results: you are joining a highly dynamic, fast paced and rapidly evolving industry, you need to be comfortable taking difficult and ambiguous problems and turning them into real, implementable solutions at pace
• An owner with an entrepreneurial mindset: you own your work, your results and everything in between and you know how to roll your sleeves up and creatively problem solve your way out of issues
