THE ROLE

 

Key responsibilities

The Finance Director is a vital role within Agilisys and this role will oversee the provision of timely, insightful, and accurate financial/management information and analysis to key stakeholders to enable decision making.

 

Specific duties

Depending on the project, you will need to be comfortable doing the following:

  • Oversee the provision of timely, insightful, and accurate financial/management information and analysis to key stakeholders to enable decision making.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure financials goals are attained including reporting of Risk and Opportunities.
  • Production of and continued improvement to regular reporting including Weekly Flash, CFO Packs, and other financial KPI reporting.
  • Oversee the monthly reporting processes with appropriate controls for P&L, BS, cash flow, product and project reporting.
  • Following implementation of new Certinia (Financial Force) system, lead on MI and reporting development to meet new business requirements e.g. growing Product business.
  • Key lead in due diligences associated with transactional events.
  • Lead the finance business partners to commercial finance support for the Managed Services business
  • Ensure high quality and accurate output from the finance business partner team.
  • Produce annual financial budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
  • Provide critical insight into the drivers and levers underpinning financial performance.
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of reports produced by the team, reviewing appropriate financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
  • Contributing to company financial strategy and decision-making process.
  • Undertaking insightful financial analysis and reporting.
  • Foster a collaborative approach by building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders, both within Agilisys and with external partners, to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Professional Accountancy qualification preferably CIMA / GCMA
  • 5 years PQ with experience in a FP&A function / role covering full budgeting / forecasting cycles preferably in Products (SaaS), IT, Digital or Professional Services organisations.
  •  Significant experience of finance business partnering with a wide group of stakeholders, able to influence and collaborate with others, provide challenge to ensure insightful and timely reporting and analysis.
  • Experience of communicating and presenting complex information to internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate complex accounting/financial concepts in an easily digestible form.
  • Solid analytical and planning skills with ability to develop reporting processes to meet new business needs.
  • Advanced Excel, financial modelling and familiar with Salesforce ERP system.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
