To reach this goal we need a 360, analytical and results driven person to take ownership of our Finance function in Albania. The time to market is a crucial factor, so we need a problem-solver person with 100% hands-on attitude. Be a part of a team where you will:- Be part of the Finance Team in Tirana, and help in taking decisions that will shape the future of our business in the country and in the region.
- Participate in establishing new finance processes and streamlining existing processes
- Maintain and develop relationship with internal and external parties of the Company (HQ, regional teams, accounting firm, auditors, banks, etc)
- Assist the local team in finance operations (invoicing, payments, partner queries)
- Preparing the monthly profit and loss statement and balance sheet report and report them to HQ Accounting team
- Treasury forecast
- Ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded. Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency. Ensure compliance with IFRS (for group reporting) and local GAAP principles, where applicable
- Take ownership of the FP&A and controlling functions (Business Plan, monthly closings, etc)
- Team with all Albanian departments to drive the country’s financial discipline and improve overall profitability, maximizing outputs.
- Work closely with the Finance Leadership to provide financial insights and assess the company’s overall progress towards its strategic objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting (ACCA/CPA Certification would be considered an advantage)
- 2-3+ years finance experience in a similar position
- Experience of working in the Food Delivery Sector or in a Big 4 would be considered a plus
- Thorough knowledge of local accounting and tax standards (Local GAAP)
- Advanced MS Excel Skills (pivot tables, sumifs, vlookup, Charts etc) & Google Workspace
- Knowledge of the English language (advanced)
