Finance Manager, UK

As a Finance Manager within our global reporting team, based in London, you will report on the UK region of the business. This will include monthly reporting, working with the auditors, and ensuring that statutory requirements are met.
You will report to the Senior Finance Manager for the UK.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsibility for month-end reporting across UK entities and specific processes across all group entities
- Liaise with the broader reporting team on processes performed at the group level and take responsibility for specific processes as required
- Work with the local UK Finance Strategy and operational teams to ensure a thorough understanding of all accounting entries
- Assist the local UK Finance Strategy with any queries on monthly reports
- Monthly variance analysis of P&L and Balance sheet, including working with other Finance sub-departments to fully understand monthly actuals
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including resolution of variances and issues identified
- Prepare statutory accounts for UK entities in accordance with local accounting standards
- Work with external auditors to fulfil their requests and answer their queries
- Support the Senior Finance in finance transformation and ad hoc projects
- Support external group reporting team during the half-year and full-year Group reporting process
Requirements:
- Accountancy qualification: ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 2+ years of post-qualified experience in a relevant industry role
- Technical accounting knowledge
- Good working knowledge of IFRS15
- A desire to take responsibility and ‘own’ your work
- Experience with delivery results – you are willing to to create results
- An awareness of the importance of deadlines
Advantageous, but not required:
- Some experience of a start-up environment
- Prior experience of NetSuite
- Prior experience of Blackline
- Prior experience of intercompany
- Prior experience of IFRS16
