Who are you? The FinOps Business Partner will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between finance and client services. This role involves tracking client revenue and costs, ensuring accurate reconciliation, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Here’s where you come in...

  • Partner with Client Services: Act as the primary financial liaison for the client services team, providing support and insights to drive client revenue growth and cost management.
  • Revenue Tracking: Monitor and analyze client revenue streams, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of all financial transactions.
  • Cost Management: Track and manage costs associated with client services, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of client accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions, including profitability analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and actionable insights.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency within the client services function.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, and operations to support overall business objectives.

  • 3+ years of experience in financial operations, financial analysis, or a related role.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills, comfortable working with high volumes of data
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adept and comfortable working through frequent change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and hands-on with excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
  • Advertising/marketing background will be an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, NetSuite preferred.
  • Willing to be trained and to train others
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
