Finance Operations Manager
The Finance Operations Manager is a role whose primary focus is to own and drive FP&A initiatives, activities, and programs. We are looking for a relationship builder, versatile and intellectually curious individual who can develop trust with key leaders and stakeholders across the Finance Planning & Analysis organization and “make it happen”. The successful candidate is independent and will play a key role in improving processes, implementing projects, and will be the glue that will help FP&A run better with efficiency and speed while maintaining the operational rhythm of the business. The Finance Operations Manager must thrive in highly ambiguous environments and is capable of operating at tactical, strategic, and operational levels. The ideal candidate is a nimble leader who can meet timely business needs or gaps in leadership and accountability while staying execution-minded.
Responsibilities:- Work with FP&A leaders to identify, define, manage, and drive special projects and initiatives for the FP&A team; collaborate with stakeholders across the company as needed
- Manage special projects and drive alignment around setting strategy for projects by forming a plan with clear goals and asks, defining problem statements and key milestones, all while then executing and monitoring progress
- Own FP&A team-wide communications and activities including communicating priorities, various engagement initiatives and development of surveys to measure impact of said initiatives
- Document solutions and support institution of controls; find or create one source of truth for key metrics and dimensions used across FP&A
- Identify and take on ad-hoc projects including new opportunities --e.g. process improvements to relieve operational bottlenecks
- Manage the implementation and adoption of FP&A standardized processes and procedures, including periodic policy & procedure updates
- Support various process improvement workstreams in parallel, related to elevating FP&A SOX controls/testing and FP&A’s accrual process
- BA/BS with 5+ years of communications/operations management experience with 2+ years of project management experience
- Ability to wear multiple hats including being an Individual contributor or leader of a cross-functional task force
- Strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to break down complex problems into component parts; proven ability to lead and enjoy both strategic and tactical work
- Excellent at project management with the ability to dive into a matter, understand the needs, facilitate decisions, and drive to understand core operational challenges
- Independent, detail oriented problem solver with demonstrated experience in developing and improving processes amidst ambiguity as well as working with limited resources and supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with the ability to work well with executives, and influence across various levels of an organization
- Experience with a broad suite of communication and project management tools (G-suite, Confluence, Jira, Slack, etc.) a plus

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $143,870 - $159,850. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
