We are now looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our Finance team and who wants to make the role their own. You will be exposed to many areas of a finance team, allowing you to gain experience upon which to build your future within our growing team in an international environment, handling responsibilities across our five offices (Barcelona, London, NYC, Montreal and Manila)

YOU ARE: 

  • Experienced in a Financial Accountant role
  • A great communicator (verbal and written) 
  • At ease with the idea of translating Financial concepts and making them understandable for non-accounting people
  • Detail oriented
  • An Excel wizard/witch  

YOU WILL: 

  • Handle the development, improvement and documentation of the Business processes and Financial controls and policies to implement, maintain and strengthen internal controls within a rapidly changing and growing Business environment.
  • Support to the finance automation process.
  • Have Ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliations (to audit-ready presentation) including all commentary, reporting and variance analysis.
  • Ownership of monthly IC Transfer pricing and IC reconciliation.
  • Monthly corporation tax accruals.
  • Support Credit Control management and reporting.
  • Assist with Payroll processing function for all entities within organization and post transactions to required ledgers in all legal entities.
  • Quarterly VAT return compilation along with accompanying analysis and commentary.
  • Coordinate the audit process by managing the audit timetable and liaising with internal and external parties on deliverables.
  • Review and oversight of the day-to-day transactional operations of the AP function.
  • Review and oversight of corporate credit cards and spend and associated controls.
  • Month-end close controls are applied and adhered to.
  • Manage Month-end and year-end timetable and processes to ensure timing adhered to.
  • Support the FP&A function:  Work closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of actual monthly results that are fully reconciled between financial and management reporting.
  • Have an understanding of other roles within the team to allow for cover.
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities that go hand in hand with a role in a business that is fast moving, dynamic and growing.

YOU HAVE: 

  • Good experience in an accounting function;
  • Good communication (verbal and written) skills with all levels of role players (internal and external)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Hard-working, efficient, motivated multi-tasker and self-starter
  • Adaptable and comfortable making the role their own
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Strong administration skills
  • ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified
  • Strong excel skills
  • Additional Skills;  Microsoft Power BI
