Financial Analyst
Chewy is looking for a highly motivated, curious, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Business Partnerships team! This role offers the opportunity to help build the financial infrastructure that powers insights and decision-making across our HR, Finance, Accounting, and Legal business units via strategic analysis, reporting innovation, and process improvement. We’re looking for someone who loves digging into data, building tools, streamlining processes, and unlocking actionable insights.
What You'll Do:
- Design and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to support the Corporate Business Partnerships team
- Drive process improvement and reporting standardization, improving team efficiency and data reliability
- Support forecasting, month-end reporting, and business review cycles through data prep, visualization, and insight development
- Collaborate with business partners (HR, Finance, Accounting, and Legal, etc.) to support ad hoc analyses and business initiatives
- Manage centralized team files and data repositories, ensuring accuracy, version control, and accessibility for the full team
What You'll Need:
- BA/BS degree required; Preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Business Analytics, or Economics
- 0-2 years of relevant finance or other analytical experience with an understanding of financial statements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize, manipulate, and draw insights from data
- Advanced Excel skills (i.e., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
- Familiarity with or curiosity about SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools (experience is a plus, but not required)
- Outstanding attention to detail and ownership mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to distill and convey complex information messages clearly and succinctly
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
