Financial Analyst, FP&A Revenue

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a critical driver in the decision-making process at Lyft, deeply embedded within the business to ensure the best possible financial outcomes. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Rideshare FP&A team. This role is key to enhancing financial visibility, providing insightful analysis, and driving impactful business decisions.
As part of the Rideshare team, you will be involved in all aspects of financial management related to servicing rides through the Lyft platform. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact at one of the tech industry’s most dynamic companies.
Responsibilities:- Lead the Rideshare financial management reporting, ensuring accuracy, quality, and insightful analysis for presentations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Accounting and Line of Business partners to manage the recurring Rideshare financial forecast, ensuring alignment and accuracy.
- Create comprehensive Executive reports on both a GAAP & Non-GAAP basis, with a deep understanding of financial line items and their implications.
- Gain a deep understanding of the Rideshare financial structure, accurately reflecting product initiatives across the P&L from top to bottom.
- Partner with Consolidations to provide relevant financial insights and ensure proper handoffs and alignment with broader financial goals.
- Work with FP&A Analytics & Systems teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity within our financial infrastructure and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal FP&A team members and Line of Business partners to conduct ad hoc business analysis, addressing emerging needs and opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to create new processes and improve existing ones, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the team.
- BA/BS in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance) with 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a rigorous environment (public company experience preferred).
- Proficiency in managing and manipulating large data sets; hands-on experience with financial systems and data infrastructure is essential.
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for process improvements and problem-solving.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision, fostering strong partnerships across teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to navigate and derive insights from incomplete information; adaptable and resourceful in solving complex problems.
- Familiarity with Accounting principles and their application in financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of SQL, planning, and ERP systems such as Oracle or Anaplan is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $94,00 - $117,500. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
