As a Financial Analyst II on the G&A Finance team, you will work with our People organization, Strategy team, and finance leaders to monitor business health, identify underlying trends and make strategic business decisions. In this role, you will have full oversight into the OPEX forecasting & planning process at Pinterest, as well as the remit to manage & optimize the full book of investments within the People organization and Strategy team. This is a critical role that sits at the center of how Pinterest executes on its strategy. You will work closely with multiple teams across Pinterest (HR Oversight & HRBP, Talent Management and Total Rewards, Talent Enablement, People Technology, People Experience, Talent Acquisition, Inclusion & Diversity, Ombuds, Strategy, and User Services & Customer Support) as well as key executives (CPO, CSO, CFO, VP Finance) to help drive clarity in our business performance and manage our investments to ensure we are delivering on key strategic & financial objectives. This role will report into the Sr. Manager, G&A Finance leader.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of our core OPEX forecasting & consolidation workstreams for the People organization and Strategy team
- Work in partnership with the People and Strategy Team Leaders and the People S&O team to optimize the allocation of resources across the People organization
- Own the delivery of all monthly / quarterly financial reporting to Pinterest executives (e.g. CPO, CSO, and their direct reports)
- Create dashboards to scale monitoring of key performance indicators and tools to drive business growth
- Leverage superior financial modeling skills in order to deliver bespoke analyses for top-line growth & margin expansion initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting or Finance, or 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or other related fields
- Exceptional spreadsheet skills (Excel and Google Sheets) with experience creating financial dashboards and models
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (Google Slides)
- Business partnering experience working directly with the teams to drive the business forward and assist in making key decisions
In-Office Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
