Teads is looking for a Financial Controller to join our finance team, based in Hamburg or Dusseldorf. Reporting to the CFO, you will play a pinnacle role in managing our successful financial day-to-day operations.

As an ambassador for Teads, you will play a key part in understanding and strictly following regional financial regulations to ensure compliance and contributing to strategic financial business opportunities, that will continue our growth as a product and operationally, as a business.

• Overseeing the bookkeeping
• Processing, banking, payments, general ledger transactions, reconciliation of factoring transactions, inter-company transactions
• Support to the CFO for month-end and year-end close process
• Treasury management including cash flow forecasting
• Consolidation and review of statutory accounts, notes and disclosures
• Assistance in external and internal audits
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with required tax filings

• A first experience managing financial operations
• 3 years of experience
• Being fluent in German and English
• Excellent Excel skills
• ACCA part qualified (desirable)
• Commercial-minded, with financial modelling skills
• Attention to detail, problem-solving & organisational skills
• Great communication & interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
• Team player, but also able to work independently using your own initiative, when needed
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines
• Experience in the Media or Ad Tech industry is preferred but not required
