We are looking for a Financial Crime professional to join Wise’s mission, who will be part of a young and dynamic team of Specialists who review high risk customers and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR).

Your mission:

  • Act as final point of approval for all SARs before they are submitted to CTIF
  • Review high risk customers
  • Support your Lead on enquiries and projects relating to reporting to the FIU
  • Provide feedback to the first line KYC, AML investigations and reporting teams on how to effectively adapt their controls to address Europe-specific financial crime risks

A bit about you:

We are looking for someone that’s passionate about financial crime, fintech and building an incredible product that changes the financial lives of customers across the globe. You should have:

  • Preferably some experience in liaising with a FIU
  • Excellent writing skills that helps our investigations come to life and supports the FIU in their fight against crime
  • Fluent in English, preferably some understanding of French or Dutch
  • Comfortable with data and metrics, so that creating measurable SAR metrics will come as second nature
  • Eye for detail and motivated to deliver the best quality
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Application process:

A 30 minute introductory call with a member of the Recruitment team to discuss motivations for working at Wise and our Mission, learn more about how you work and understand the impact you might have here. You will also have the chance to hear more about the role and ask any questions. 

Next will be a complete-at-home task. We allow 5-7 days for you to complete this and it should give you a good overview of daily activities of this role, and allow us to assess key skills and communication style. 

This will be followed by a first stage Interview with two members of the team / tribe to discuss your experience and your motivations. We will ask questions aligned with our values and attributes to understand how you work, what you have delivered previously and how you could contribute to our mission.

The last step in our process will be a final interview with two more team/tribe members here they’ll ask you questions around what you might bring to the role, and how you might embody our values at Wise.

Salary (monthly)€4.200—€5.300 EUR
