Your mission

You will be part of the team that oversees the procurement of the Satellite Control Center of Rivada Space Networks’ constellation. Your mission is to strengthen our team as a Flight Dynamics Engineer, taking key responsibilities in the procurement phase and providing support and expertise in the definition of operations for the Routine Phase. You will ensure the successful design and delivery of the Satellite Control Center's Flight Dynamic products, and help define maneuvers plans and Space Situational Awareness strategies. This includes:

  • Liaise with the SCC Prime to ensure the correct development and procurement of the Flight Dynamic systems
  • Participate in the selection of contractors providing external Space Situational Awareness or other Flight Dynamics products
  • Perform simulations and define station keeping and collision avoidance strategies
  • Create and update tools for the automation of routine operations
  • Liaise and coordinate with the GNC team
  • Review and generation of mission documentation, including procedures, software manuals, and operational reports
  • Participate in the test, simulation and rehearsal campaigns
  • Provide operations preparation support for LEOP, Commissioning and Routine Operations

What you bring on the table

  • Successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics or physics
  • 5+ years of experience working in Flight Dynamics simulations and operations
  • Software and scripting development and management experience  
  • Able to complete tasks per established schedule and demonstrate a pragmatic approach to solving problems 
  • Able to travel and work in a very dynamic environment
  • Good communication skills 
  • Fluency in English
