Flight Operation Specialist

In the Flights department, our mission is to provide flights for our brands based on quality and efficiency work between sales and flights.As our Flight Specialist you would be working directly with our internal customers, our Travel Specialist. You'll be helping them book, issue, reissue and refund flights for our trips of the different brands we work with. As an operational department, be prepared to be part of our rotation system for emergencies. You will report directly to the Director of Flights, Ericka, and you will be part of the Flights Team, which currently has 6 flight specialists, you might be the 7th! On daily basis you will- Make flight reservations, quotations, ticketing, exchanges and refunds for our trips around the world of our different brands.
- Maintain contact with our airline partners in Germany.
- Search for flight offers within our routes or be able to present new alternatives.
- Be ready to answer emergency calls on a rotating basis with the rest of the team.
- Negotiations with airlines
- Two-year proven experience working with Amadeus.
- English proficiency at B2 level in speaking and writing
- Experience on Customer Service with great service mentality.
- Good skills on prioritizing and organization.
- Great analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong attention to details.
- Being able to work under pressure.
- Great negotiations skills
- Other language skills (French or German).
- Have experience working with other GDS.
- Previous experience working in an airline.
- Freedom to be creative in achieving results.
