The Forklift and reach Truck Operator (Inventory department) receives the product for the day’s production and transports materials safely and efficiently to the appropriate areas of the facility. The Forklift and reach Truck operator also picks products from inventory as needed, makes adjustments on the computer, and adheres to all safety protocols. We have a mix of both stand up and sit down equipment. 

• Operate electric pallet jacks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas in a safe and timely manner.
• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
• Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
• Operating and managing technical equipment.
• Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.
• Adhering to safety management standards.
• Operate WMS inventory system.
• Adhering to production schedules.
• Enforce and follow all safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures.

Forklift & Reach Truck Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED 
• Must have forklift experience (stand-up double reach preferred)
• Previous High Reach and Stand up Forklift experience required
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
• Good physical condition.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be comfortable working in a cold/freezer environment
• Good written and verbal communication. Being bilingual is always a plus!
