Job Description

The Trust team works to build trust and keep bad actors out of all sides of our marketplace: consumers, riders and partners. You will work within our fraud operations team to translate questions and hypotheses into structured analysis, help the business understand root cause of issues and highlight areas of improvement for our product and data science teams. For you to succeed in this role, you must have analytical & data presentation skills, focused on completion of task and be supportive of everyone on the team.

What you will be doing?

  • Work directly with business and tech and stakeholders to translate questions and hypotheses into structured analysis.
  • Effectively translate data into actionable insights and communicate them to key stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Define, measure and track success metrics for changes to our fraud controls
  • Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale
  • Create, build and maintain necessary documentation that will help our businesses
  • Identify areas of opportunity for automation
  • Participate in quarterly and strategic planning discussion.
  • You will be reporting to Senior Manager, Fraud Operations

What you will need?

  • 5+ Years of experience in Data analysis.
  • Data querying, wrangling and transformation / SQL knowledge.
  • Data visualisation and presentation skills using any BI tools.(Looker preferred)
  • Effective at resolving problems.
  • A curiosity to learn and develop in the fraud domain
  • Prior experience working at a tech company
  • Individual contributor background
  • Prior experience in fraud/abuse analytics domain is preferred.
