As a Freelance Senior Art Director, you’re excited to join a fast-paced creative team to develop effective social campaigns, activations and high impact display solutions that move the needle creatively. Helping to lead major marketing initiatives is what keeps bringing you back to the office—including working closely with seasoned Creative Directors and Strategists to champion concepts that exceed client expectations and bring accolades to the team. You Will:

  • Contribute creative solutions and innovations. 
  • Work closely with Creative Directors to create and direct the design direction of projects.  
  • Manage project timelines to ensure they are delivered on time.  
  • Lead and partner with designers, production artists, writers and strategists
  • Perform strategic account planning with senior management in vertical marketing.  
  • Conceive and create digital campaigns that fulfill strategic business needs.  
  • Effectively communicate creative ideas and strategies.  
  • Continually improve creative department methods, problem solving models, and best practices.  
  • Develop & deliver innovative proposals to capture both account growth and new business opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality standards across all creative artifacts and deliverables.

You Have:  

  • 5+ years experience working in a digital agency on campaign related work. 
  • Deep experience with display and social advertising
  • Strong digital conceptual and design portfolio highlighting your storytelling and problem-solving capabilities from concept to completion.
  • Keen interest in championing brand identity through a balance of consistency and flexibility.
  • Proficiency in the formal elements of design, with a strong focus on typography, balance, and proportion.
  • Systematic thinker; able to anticipate the impact of design decisions well in advance of their application.
  • Experience working within dynamic creative optimization (DCO) frameworks
  • Excellent digital file structure and asset management skills.
  • Passion for pixel-perfection and order. Unparalleled attention to detail.
  • Ability to articulate ideas verbally and digitally; be clearly understood by creative, product management, and development staff.
  • Ability to deliver strong design rationale and supporting files in a tight timeframe.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, creative workplace.
  • Figma, Creative Suite and PowerPoint expertise, including file organization, and preparation of pixel-perfect files for design team use.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills that speak to both creative and technical audiences 
  • Solid understanding and appreciation for the distinction between creative expression and commercial reality.

Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position.
