Nosto is hiring a Front-End Developer. This position is based in Berlin.

Responsibilities:

• Developing onsite content for our customers such as product recommendations, content campaigns, AB tests, and email campaigns by means of programming or markup languages

• Taking the initiative to go the extra mile for delighting our customers’ portfolio of world-renowned brands

• Providing assistance to sales and marketing teams on customers’ technical implementations and other day-to-day tasks

• Giving technical support to customers’ development teams on Nosto-related topics

• Being the “tech savvy” one in calls with both internal (account managers, solution architects, etc.) and external people (customers’ dev teams, partner agencies, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bulletproof knowledge of Javascript (Javascript knowledge is essential!) and markup/style languages such as HTML and CSS

• Robust and confident knowledge of React and in writing in JSX

• Independent problem-solving skills and capability to communicate fluently with people having different professional and technical backgrounds

• A real debugging-oriented attitude. When there is a problem, the tabs “Network”, “Application”, “Console” and “Sources” of the browser’s dev tools are your best friends!

• Knowledge of template engines (we use Apache Velocity) is a plus

• Fluency in written and verbal English, as that is the company-wide spoken language. Every other language (German, French, Spanish, Swedish, etc.) is a plus
