The role

The FSQA Category Technologist ensures that our suppliers and ingredients meet, and where possible, exceed those standards of compliance set in HelloFresh policies and documented systems.

You will…

  • Meet deadlines as set within critical path timescales in accordance with action plans for all associated activities and projects.
  • Build effective relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage supplier interactions including BAU and specific projects. Develop, maintain and strengthen supplier relationships with new and existing suppliers.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives in the effective and consistent implementation of global policies.
  • Ensure suppliers and SKU’s are onboarded in accordance with the procedure and within set timelines, as managed through the use of GANTT charts and other tools.
  • Act as Key cover for other FSQA Category Technologists in the Team, as required.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled FSQA meetings, as required.
  • Carry out reviews of SKU specifications, as planned or when change occurs.
  • Participate in further training and coaching to extend one's own knowledge and experience, as required.
  • Carry out any reasonable additional duty in relation to the FSQA Category Technologist role, as required by HelloFresh. 
  • Act as a Role-model for our HelloFresh values and as an Ambassador of Food Safety, its vision and ethics. 

You have…

  • Degree in related discipline (essential)
  • HACCP qualification (desirable)
  • Auditor qualification (desirable)
  • Allergen training (desirable)
  • Effective communication, both in writing and speaking, with a talent for building positive relationships.
  • Exposure in Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards and experience in implementing Quality Management Systems.

You are…

  • Proficient in food processing systems and equipment.
  • Able to maintain organization and logic in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Knowledgeable in the practical application of Australian and New Zealand Food Regulations.
  • Skilled in GSuite and Microsoft Suite, with a strong foundation in data analytics.
  • Flexible and adaptable in autonomous work settings, while also comfortable in cross-functional team environments.
  • Aware of ethical and environmental considerations in food industry practices.
  • Capable of driving change, tackling challenges with a positive attitude, and conveying messages in a consistent, decisive, and clear manner.

Start Date: Immediately available - Can wait a notice period

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia/New Zealand.
