FSQA Manager
For our ambitious team, we are looking for a FSQA Manager to manage the Protein Category and represent FSQA in the 3rd party operated facility in Moss.
You will be at the center of driving our quality assurance initiatives, maintaining close contact with other quality assurance team members, warehouse goods-in teams, procurement and culinary teams, and not least our suppliers to ensure that the products we receive are compliant with agreed specifications and in compliance with regulations. You will collaborate across markets, to knowledge share and lead quality projects.
Your normal work will include leading a small team, you will also be leading parts of our error-reducing projects together with the strategic procurement and the FSQA technical team to ensure that our customers get the best possible experience. You will be responsible for the compliance of the warehouse, ensuring that audits including BRCGS are passed.
Your normal work will include onboarding and visiting suppliers, new product approval- including microbial specifications control and labeling creation, you will also be part of our error-reducing projects together with the strategic procurement team to ensure that our customers get the best possible experience.

You will…- Be a food safety, quality, and integrity expert, working closely with and supporting HelloFresh teams, including Culinary, Procurement, Customer Care and our Distribution Centers.
- Represent HelloFresh FSQA entity on this 3rd party operated facility in Moss.
- Manage the local FSQA team to ensure conformance to HelloFresh standards, BRC Storage and distribution requirements, HACCP principles, Food Safety regulations and GMP
- Be the HACCP Team leader of a cross functional HACCP team
- Lead the protein category to excellence, working closely with the procurement team and our suppliers to proactively manage suppliers’ compliance with requirements, review and approve supplier specifications and onboard new suppliers and ingredients
- Support in creating and reviewing product labels and packaging
- Collaborate with the International FSQA teams on strategic projects successfully adopting and implementing these locally
- Conduct supplier audits mainly in the Nordics and ensure that suppliers practices conform to both HelloFresh and regulatory standards
- Analyse error data for trends and developing issues. Work to not only find defects, but also to find the root cause defect and develop sustainable solutions.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, goods specification, and supplier data at all times. Continually improve the HelloFresh Specification system.
- Inspire colleagues to care about our products and brand
- Work closely with the Distribution Centres in both Moss and Bjuv to resolve production issues & manage risks in case of supplier or ingredient related non conformances.
- Master's degree in Food Science or similar discipline
- +3 years of experience from a food production site or similar, preferably protein
- Experience with the HACCP principles and GFSI standard, preferably BRCGS
- A structured approach to work, detail orientation and you take pride in what you do
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English is a must - it's a plus if you're fluent in Norwegian
- Good analytical skills - solid command of Excel/Google Sheets is a must
