We are looking to hire an Engineer to join our Distribution Platform team. The Distribution Platform enables end-to-end capabilities to create, distribute, and track monetization experiences across multiple industries (Financial Services, Broadband, Energy, Health, Tech and Retail). Our team is responsible for building the underlying technology and applying it to strategic business opportunities. 

In this role, you will be responsible for building services and experiences that are placed across RV owned sites and sites within our vast publisher network. You’ll create and optimize consumer facing applications and user experiences with rich interactivity in an inspiring environment. You will work on creating best-in-class proprietary portals for widget creation and management, revenue tracking, and reporting. And you’ll be encouraged to think big about difficult problems and create innovative solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Build intuitive user interfaces for a variety of users and stakeholders
  • Contribute to key architectural decisions
  • Figure out how to best scale, secure, maintain and extend applications
  • Design, modify, develop, test, and deploy high quality code across our proprietary Ad stack, APIs, and DB model schemas
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver quality software that solves immediate business problems

What We're Looking For:

  • 2-4+ years of software development experience
  • Expertise with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and VueJS or similar framework (React, Angular, etc)
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, object oriented programming, functional programming concepts
  • Comfortable working with command line and git
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments
  • Experience working with test frameworks

Even Better:

  • Experience with Python, Django, Redis, AWS
  • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns
  • Intellectual curiosity and striving to improve yourself and your teammates through self-study and professional development

Compensation

  • USA Compensation Range: $80,000-120,000*
    • *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
