Position Overview:

The Fund Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting, NAV calculations and financial statements of the Company’s US and International retail private credit investment funds. The Fund Accountant will work closely with the Company’s Senior Fund Accountants and General Partners (“GP”).

Essential Functions:

This hands-on, detail-oriented position will:

CREDIT specific tasks

  • Review daily position and cash reconciliations prepared by Administrator
  • Prepare position and cash reconciliations for Webfolio or monitor and review ETOPS as they prepare.
  • Book trades (or assist/review ETOPS booking) in Webfolio and maintain portfolio data housed in Webfolio
  • Review and help SPAR maintain additional loan security data in AIDA required for valuations as it is received (Spreads, maturities, etc.)
  • Assist SPAR (and Acuity) with updating quarterly portfolio company reporting (this is a monitoring function for the most part)
  • Work with valuation specialists to run the valuation engine each week as data is received and load prices in Webfolio and provide to the Administrator
  • Review and test administrator contract data and interest accruals daily
  • STAR File processing and full Webfolio sign off
  • Review all expense budget amounts and pay expenses with Dublin AP.
  • Create draft RIC compliance files
  • Calculate draft dividend amounts and review by investors
  • Prepare QII calculations and withholding estimates
  • Review Administrator/TA statements for investors
  • Subscriptions/Redemptions reconciliation to statements and cash
  • DRIP and Tender calculations
  • Prepare monthly 8ks
  • Review 10Q/Ks

General tasks

  • Provide assistance with updates to portfolio management data (OMNI) and weekly reconciliation
  • Assist in the preparation of semi-annual unaudited and annual audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly net asset value
  • Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation for the annual financial statement audit
  • Perform operational due diligence for each new GP and investment
  • Support the accounting team in the closing of transactions, including responding to information requests, review of allocations, review of reporting requirements and other support and analysis as needed
  • Support various fund administrators and coordinate delivery of required reporting, etc.
  • Summarize and track annual partnership K-1s for each fund
  • Respond to investor, sub-adviser and team member requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist with daily work associated with accounting and reporting functions
  • Process, track and summarize expenses across all funds
  • Assist with preparation of company dashboards and board decks
  • Perform other duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Must possess a four-year college degree with a major in Accounting
  • 4+ years of accounting or audit experience
  • Previous experience with Investment Company Accounting and ASC 820 (FAS 157) preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Astute attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities against key deadlines

Other Attributes:

  • Must be able to work independently, but contribute in a team-oriented environment

Salary Range - $80,000 - $90,000

The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position.  Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience.  The salary range does not include any benefits or other forms of possible compensation that may be available to employees.
