GDPR Consultant
EQS Group is seeking an experienced GDPR consultant to join its Operations Department. In this role you will collaborate with our team of specialized data protection consultants, supporting them in their daily missions, which include:
- Taking part in our customers' strategic projects and supporting them in the deployment and adoption of our software solutions (GDPR and AI Act).
- Providing your expertise to the various EQS Group (Marketing, Sales, Product...). We’re looking for a dedicated professional to help drive our mission of delivering top-tier data protection solutions.

Your Role:
Missions to support our customers:
- Helping our customers kick-start their compliance program by getting their foot in the door and securing an exposed perimeter.
- Helping our customers lay the foundations of their GDPR compliance arrangements.
- Help our customers build and review some of their internal processes (Privacy by design, Data breach, Exercise of rights...), with regard to the expectations of the regulations and the operation of EQS Group
- Help our customers to successfully scale up their operations: launch a dynamic deployment abroad, or prepare for the transition to permanent operation.
- Help our customers audit their GDPR compliance system
- Provide business expertise for data recovery services (functional mapping and business acceptance)
In this context, we will be looking to you to :
- Prepare and lead workshops with our customers
- Make the link between our customers' business needs and constraints, and EQS Group's possible configuration elements
- Find solutions to deployment problems
- Prepare and run business and product training sessions for our customers
Elaboration content:
- Make legal recommendations to internal EQS Group teams;
- Write content for the EQS Group website and software;
- Produce e-learning training materials;
- Conduct research, legal analysis and benchmarks;
Support Marketing / Sales teams:
- Accompany sales and marketing teams at events dedicated to data protection (trade shows / conferences / webinars), speaking at conferences or roundtables.
Contribution Product development:
- Support technical and product teams in software development, thanks to your knowledge of both theoretical and practical regulations;
Your training and experience:
- You have a degree in digital law, or compliance with a specialization in new technology law.
- You have at least 5 years' corporate experience
- You have experience as a DPO, deputy DPO or lawyer specialized in personal data protection within a company.
- You have experience of working in project mode
Skills and attitudes to succeed:
- You have a solid grounding in personal data protection law (GDPR, Loi Informatique & Libertés, etc.) and ideally in new technology law (AI Act, SREN, etc.).
- Your experience has enabled you to understand how to grasp certain aspects of the regulations in a practical, corporate context.
- You are familiar with Pack Office (Word, PowerPoint) and legal search engines.
- You are fluent in both spoken and written English (C2)
- your analytical skills and ability to synthesize information are remarkable
- You're pragmatic and good at finding solutions
- Your writing style is elegant
- Your curiosity is matched only by your organizational skills and resourcefulness.
