YOUR WORK - LIFE OPPORTUNITY 

As a General Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to build and scale our on-demand delivery platform in Bosnia & Herzegovina!

We're looking for someone who has a mix of operational prowess to get great work done, the negotiation and collaboration skills needed to bring out the best from our partners, the strategic, innovative, and creative thinking that's required to develop outside the box solutions, and the emotional intelligence and humility required to lead a fast-paced business and inspire the team.

THE JOURNEY

• Lead and develop a local team of c. 25 people. Have full P&L responsibility and own business objectives.
• Devise the long-term strategy for BiH and leverage HQ resources towards your objectives to become the Market leader in the on-demand delivery industry in BiH.
• Directly oversee multiple departments and areas of responsibility: Commercial, Quick-commerce, Operations, Finance, Advertising, etc.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with partners on our platform
• Hire top talent, help them perform, grow, and develop as professionals
• Analyze business and financial data to make key decisions for the country
• Establish and maintain relationships with regulators, unions, and the government. Be the legal representative of Glovo.
• Be informed, get involved, and make things happen. Get into details, be hands-on, deep dive and problem solve. You will make things happen together with your team.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• >5 years' experience in top management, ideally in an international business. You've managed a team of at least 10 people before and all of your (former) reports speak highly of you as a manager and leader.
• Ideally you have a Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, MBA or other relevant fields.
• You are exceptional in Project management, and your are highly organized
• You're persuasive in an effective but pleasant way and have no trouble selling anything
• You've got good judgment and own up to your mistakes
• You're extremely curious and have a desire to acquire deep understanding
• You find smart and elegant solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems
• You're extremely agile and thrive in ambiguous environments
• You are always respectful, kind and fair. You are empathetic and inclusive.
• You have an ambition that makes some people think you're crazy while inspiring others
