Elastic is transforming the industry and works closely with Cloud Service Providers in this mission. The Global Alliance Manager (GAM) is responsible for helping lead this charge with responsibility for driving the strategic development and global management of our Strategic Alliance with AWS.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Working with global leaders from AWS to develop a joint strategy and plan that includes investments in capacity and skills, co-selling (influenced) revenue, and development of industry & cloud-based accelerators
  • Driving the execution of revenue-driving programs and initiatives as well as capacity growth and customer success
  • Taking joint Elastic-partner sales plays, offerings and industry assets/solutions to specific markets for local execution and engagement with our Elastic field sales teams
  • Evangelizing Elastic’s value proposition within our partner organization and facilitating the partner’s value proposition within Elastic and affiliated companies
  • Executing, leading, and delivering global pipeline and revenue tied to AWS' strategies and initiatives in close alignment with internal and external partners
  • Maintaining pipeline and dashboards that communicate to Executive Leadership the effectiveness of identified programs and investments
  • Educating AWS staff on Elastic’s technology and how our technology fits into their overall GTM strategy and portfolio of products and services offering
  • Conducting regular communication cadence and business reviews between AWS & Elastic
What You Bring Along:
  • 15+ years in a channel sales or channel management roles focused on Global Strategic Partners (ideally with AWS)
  • Effective collaboration skills across multiple cross-functional teams, including sales, alliances, marketing, legal, and operations
  • Strong tolerance for ambiguity; able to focus and execute in a changing environment and make things happen
  • Demonstrable proof of scaling capacity of strategic partners technology practices
  • Strong drive and character qualities that match our company Source Code and inspires others
  • A high degree of empathy and a desire to build balanced, diverse teams

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE).  On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 70/30 pay mix (base salary / target variable).  

The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is listed below.  This range represents the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
