Businesses are an important part of the inspiration journey, and we’re looking for a Global Business Communications Lead to help demonstrate the power of Pinterest as an ad platform. You’ll be part of the communications team and tell impactful stories of why businesses should be on Pinterest and how the platform can help them grow and reach new customers. 

What you'll do:

  • Manage global B2B communications and collaborate with global communications peers to support business storytelling around the world 
  • Independently and with minimal oversight develop strategic communications plans for global, multi-region product launches and campaigns with strong project management and attention to detail
  • Serve as project leader for large-scale cross-functional global projects and partner campaigns that support Pinterest’s ad business, while overseeing localized comms projects managed by peer team members
  • Work closely with the global sales organization on campaign communications to generate press on how advertisers are using Pinterest
  • Proactively organize executive-level engagements including editorial meetings, press events, and industry conferences
  • Manage relationships with top-tier business, advertising and technology press globally, and support regionalized business press efforts around the wold
  • Draft high-quality B2B press materials including newsroom posts, executive social posts, and pitches to amplify news
  • Create executive briefs and prepare senior business spokespersons for B2B interviews and speaking engagements
  • Monitor industry trends to identify strategic opportunities and provide counsel to leadership
  • Develop operational best practices and mentor junior team members for global efficiency
  • Help manage inbound press inquiries and provide strategic guidance on response approaches

What we're looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate, B2B, or strategic communications with demonstrated leadership experience
  • Proven track record providing strategic counsel to VP-level or C-suite executives
  • Experience managing relationships with key media members and organizing executive-level engagements
  • Expert-level proactive project management skills with experience serving as project leader on large-scale initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage crisis communications with minimal supervision
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with ability to develop communications plans independently
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills with ability to flex voice and tone for executive audiences
  • Experience in digital advertising, technology, or B2B sectors preferred
  • Strong ability to independently make strategic decisions and provide counsel for complex global projects and crisis situations
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and managing content review processes
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, a related field or relevant experience

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1x time per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices; London, UK
