The role

Join our dynamic Growth Partnerships Global Partnerships team, where you will have full ownership of our new business development efforts across several verticals to drive impactful new partnerships and projects in HelloFresh's Global Growth Marketing organisation. 

As Global Business Development Manager, you will be part of an exciting new growth phase of the global Partnerships channel within the HelloFresh Group and the highly energetic and impactful Global Partnerships team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting journey where you can contribute to our strategic direction and future operating model! 

We are looking for a candidate that has experience and a proven track record in the development and successful growth of new revenue generating partnerships to deliver on the broader business objectives. Someone that can demonstrate both experience and success in building strong relationships with potential partners to promote our brands and products to their customer base as well as internal stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You also need to possess a high degree of business acumen to think strategically with scale in mind while independently moving potential new business opportunities move from prospecting to launch.

What you’ll do
  • Responsible to contribute to the setting of to deliver on quarterly and annual business goals from new multi-market partnerships
  • Identifies, evaluates and prioritizes potential strategic international partners across assigned verticals
  • Tracks and reports progress across the full sales cycle, identifies and resolves bottlenecks
  • Contributes to vertical development; identifies and evaluates potential new verticals
  • Develops commercial and product requirement documentation and business cases
  • Creates sales collateral materials and acts as main point of contact for new business enquiries
  • Negotiates and finalizes partnership agreements, ensuring mutual business objectives are met
  • Contributes to new business forecasts and budgets
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and colleagues cross-functionally (indirect procurement, GP partner success and platform teams, legal, analytics, etc)
  • Conducts vertical relevant market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities and competitive insights
What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Marketing, Business Management or equivalent work experience
  • At least 7 year experience in the online marketing industry, ideally in affiliate marketing or partnerships
  • Equipped with solid knowledge of the affiliate and partnerships landscape, common commercial models and tracking solutions as well as reporting dashboards such as Tableau
  • Proficient English in written and spoken form, fluency in German, French or Spanish will be an advantage
  • A critical thinker with strong analytical and organisational skills, able to work independently and prioritise with determination and ambition
  • Adept at rapidly understanding business needs and crafting solutions
  • A confident communicator and presenter who uses data to support their perspectives
  • Able to articulate challenges and problems and then move swiftly to problem solving
  • A culture fit; you are professional, passionate, collaborative and hungry to learn
  • A driver of change and someone who breaks down barriers
  • Excited by ambitious targets and energised by rising to challenges
  • Able to move fast individually, but understand that building good foundations can help everyone move faster and are essential to scale
  • Experience with analytics, reporting and competitive insights is a plus, namely Tableau, SimilarWeb, etc
